FFA Retire Senior Officers

On April 29, the FFA held their annual banquet to show their accomplishments and to introduce their teams that they will be taking to the national FFA convention held in Louisville Kentucky. The FFA will be sending three teams in hope to bring back another national championship including Nursery, Flori and Agronomy .

“It just shows that they are doing what it takes to get to the next level and I couldn’t be more proud of them” Jim Morgan FFA advisor said.

Not only did the FFA look towards the future but they also looked to the past watching a slideshow of the past year. After that it was time to retire the graduating officers.

“It was hard to say goodbye but these are some of the memories I will never forget,” Sara Guetterman, senior said

Her as well as Abbi Key, Andie Buffington and Jada Caplinger gave their positions to the next in line that were elected earlier in the school year. They gave their positions to Liz Hildreth, Paige Buffington and Gracie Key.

“It’s just really sad to see the go they put so much effort into this and that means we are going to have to step up even more next year,” Abby Tucker, Junior said.

The national qualified teams will be practicing throughout the summer to prepare for nationals.
